It's going to be a busy day...
in the morning, visit Hama-Rikyu park.
awsome park with traditional Teahouse and other interesting buildings.
Tea ceremony, just for me..
the magic of tatami floors and opened shoji when the heat is strong and a breeze rolls in.
phonecall with my brother, good to talk with you and get a headsup from you to.
greetings from Tokyo ;)
Bird control shure, check them in action in after the break maybe :p
I watched my clock and time was flashing forward, i needed to rush to be on time...
Planned another meeting for today, this time with a smaller and younger office.
Subwaystop: Naka-Meguro
I got there right on time like a clockwork.
ISSHO is the name of this office and they're work covers a series of different building types.
I got the chance to have a talk with the young mid-thirty years old founder himself, and presented my portfolio.
After a while i asked him for directions to a project i really wanted to see.
He gave me directions on my map, i thanked him and i was on my way again.
On the way there i acted my usual self and randomly picked some streets to walk there, which is by far the best way to get to know a place.
Once there...
it was tiny...
No seriously, its very small, if you see it on picture it looks bigger then it is, trust me.
with a lot of effort maybe just 2meters wide... and thats including the 20 cm on the right side of the door.
definetly i am satisfied to have seen this, dispite the long walk to get there, it was once again more then worth it!
i'd love to go back to try their soba and experience the interior side.
i met with Yuki again, and i wanted to go get a Hanko (name stamp).
its like a signature when you register it, but i wanted one as a souvenir and to put my name on my sketches.
So yes, i got one now, with the red ink.
SUGOI!
no picture of it yet, its still in the package and unused, because ink can get messy...
We decided to return earlier then yesterday because tomorrow i'm leaving Tokyo and i still needed to pack everything again.
That evening was another new kind of diner i didn't try yet.
These are pretty cool to eat at... tatami tables, so take of your shoes and have a bite.
